About
I'm Meghan Strange. A recent graduate from Penn State University within the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications. I majored in Broadcast Journalism with minors in Sports Studies and Entrepreneurship and Innovation, along with a John Curley Center Certificate in Sports Journalism. At PSU, I was a beat writer and broadcaster covering various athletics teams for The Daily Collegian and CommRadio. I co-hosted a weekly sports talk show, Sports Chat with Meg and Amanda, that has continued outside of the College of Comm and since been published on Spotify. Additionally, I hosted PSNtv's Gameshow 101. Through Penn State Network Television, I was selected as one of the inaugural THON dancers and helped to raise over 17 million dollars for pediatric cancer research. Individually, I raised over 6 thousand dollars. Lastly, I am a former Penn State Athletics Live Video Production intern and have continued working as a part-time employee.

In addition to my involvements with sports media and production, I was a teaching assistant and an ambassador for the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Minor and one of its courses. I assisted with grades, projects and student-created businesses. However, outside of class I planned at least one group event for the minor and its organizations.

Most recently, I have worked for SiriusXM as a Sports Programming Intern for one of its channels, MLB Network Radio. As an intern, I had opportunities to network with successful radio producers, manage and create social media posts and assist in production as needed. I helped produce live shows and created social media posts that gained over 22 thousand views.
